As Head of Product at ADL Digital Lab, I co-led the creation of Banco Popular’s Design System — a cross-functional framework that redefined the bank’s digital identity and development efficiency.
This initiative brought together product, design, and engineering teams to unify visual language, strengthen brand consistency, and accelerate delivery across multiple digital channels.
Scope
The system consolidated over 200 reusable components and design patterns, reducing time-to-market by over 40% and establishing a scalable foundation for the bank’s digital ecosystem.
It also enhanced accessibility and adoption among silver-segment customers (50+), enabling intuitive, inclusive, and adaptable digital experiences.
