Concept

As Principal Product Owner, I led the strategy, design, and delivery of Aval’s Digital Payments Ecosystem — a comprehensive portal for B2B clients to acquire and manage e-commerce products, compete with platforms like Wompi, and consolidate payment services within the group.

The initiative brought together three specialized digital squads focused on authentication and client management, payment gateway integration, and product innovation — including the launch of a 100% digital payment link with smart inventory and a QR-based payment product for small businesses, restaurants, and retail clients.

Scope

Over a 9-month development cycle, the project delivered a scalable, secure, and user-friendly e-commerce platform that unified Aval’s digital payments infrastructure.

The solution enabled business clients to manage their sales without leaving the group’s ecosystem — boosting competitiveness, improving transaction efficiency, and opening new digital revenue streams across Aval’s financial institutions.
